Please review the following terms before booking your trip.
These General Terms and Conditions govern the contract between you (the “Customer”) and BestChinaJourney. By booking with us, you accept these terms.
They include booking rules, payments, cancellations, liability, and travel obligations.
1. Scope of Service
These terms apply to all travel services provided by BestChinaJourney, including private tours, group tours, transport, accommodation, guides, and related services.
2. Booking & Contract
- Bookings may be submitted via website, email, or phone.
- Your booking is a binding request for travel services.
- The contract becomes valid upon written confirmation by BestChinaJourney.
- You must provide accurate personal and passport information.
3. Booking Process
Your trip includes:
- Submit request & share travel preferences
- Receive suggestions within 12 hours
- Custom itinerary design with advisor
- Sign digital contract & pay deposit (20%–50%)
- Receive travel confirmations
- Arrive in China — your guide welcomes you!
4. Payments
- Deposit due at booking; remaining balance due 20 days before arrival.
- Late payment may result in cancellation and fees.
- Accepted payments: Credit card, WeChat, Alipay, bank transfer.
- Customer pays all transaction fees.
- Prices in USD, EUR, or RMB; exchange-rate differences may apply.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
- 30+ days before departure: 80% refund
- 15–29 days: 70% refund
- 8–14 days: 50% refund
- 0–7 days: No refund
- Visa failure (30+ days prior): refund minus supplier fees
No refund once the trip has begun for unused services.
6. Itinerary Changes
- Changes before booking: free
- Changes after deposit: $25 fee + third-party charges
- Force-majeure adjustments may occur (weather, politics, etc.)
7. Travel Requirements
- Valid passport & visas required
- Tibet travel requires medical clearance
- Baggage allowance per China Civil Aviation: 20kg economy, 30kg business, 40kg first class
8. Insurance
Travel packages include basic accident insurance up to $30,000. We recommend purchasing full travel insurance in your home country.
9. Liability
We are not responsible for losses due to weather, strikes, government actions, airline issues, illness, theft, or other events beyond our control.
